Biography

Asst. Prof. Ivo Planinc is a cardiologist at the University Hospital Centre Zagreb, specialized in heart failure and imaging, especially in cardiomyopathies. He also focuses on application of novel therapies, such as mavacamten for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and it’s real-world evidence (RWE). With extensive clinical experience, he is an expert in Croatia’s oHCM management, focusing on practical implementation and patient outcomes.

  • Real-World Evidence: Contributes in Croatian RWE study showing significant symptom improvement with mavacamten.
  • REMS Implementation: Promotes echo-guided mavacamten monitoring, achieving high adherence in Croatia.
